The month of love 💗 Love can be in your life in so many ways… it doesn’t have to be a romantic relationship, it can be your friends, your family and most importantly love for yourself 🥰
Have you ever heard the saying "you are the average of the 5 people you spend time with"?
I’ve thought about this a lot lately. I’ve always stressed the importance of nutrition beyond the physical. The transformational nutrition model I follow, developed by the Institute of Transformational Nutrition, is based on 3 pillars: physical, mental and spiritual. Physical nutrition is pretty obvious; mental nutrition is your emotional state and your thoughts; and lastly, spiritual nutrition is your connection to others and this world. The people you spend time with definitely contribute to your health on all levels!
So if you think about the 5 people you spend the most time with, or your 5 closest friends, do they encourage you to strive for the best? Or are they negative people who like to complain and gossip? Do they have goals that they are actively working towards achieving? Or do they make excuses?
Take stock of who these 5 people are and ask yourself: are they raising you up or pulling you down?
You can’t always control everyone you have to spend time with. For instance, your
job …well you could actually quit if it’s that toxic... but you do have some control, probably more than you realize.I’ve made a conscious effort to add more of these positive people to my life over the past year. One way I’ve done this is by joining a group coaching program for entrepreneurs. We have a coach, and we all encourage each other and raise each other up. I also invested for the first time ever in my life in a personal trainer. It’s honestly the best, and I often ask myself now, why didn’t I do this years ago?!?

So think about your goals, perhaps you want to get a group together who want to make salads for the week ahead 🥗? That I can help you with 😉
My point in all of this is to get you to think about how you can surround yourself with the right collective to help you achieve your goals. This could mean hiring a coach, joining a group program or trying to hook up with some new friends that have similar values and goals as you.
Maybe you are thinking I can’t afford a personal coach or a program for myself… and my advice for you is: can you really afford not to? There are a lot of options out there at many different price points, whether it be one of my programs or someone else’s. I don’t know anyone who has ever regretted spending money on their own self improvement.
You truly are the greatest project you’ll ever work on 💕Â
